The Texas Commission on the Arts is paying for the performance, which is hosted by the Valley Mills Public Library. It will be a fascinating journey around the world of music from traditional volksmusic of Austrian villages to the Texas-Mexican border conjuntos! and from Argentina and French cafe music. Programs for children on the history of Texas and the American Revolution will be on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 beginning February 24 for 6 weeks -- March 3 program will be on Texas Independence. Inquire about a Texas America 250 reading certificate! ---------------Remember, if your card is out of date or books overdue, you cannot download e-books from our consortium. ---Perla McMullen has set up a toddler time on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 10:30 -- a huge playpen has been donated so the young mothers can have some time to select books and visit with the other young mothers! - also, we have some new books --YA, adult, and bilingual board books! Remember the graphic novels of some classics, children's books, YA , adult books AND new bilingual board books and bilingual fairy tales for children that came in earlier this fall. .-./ LIBRARY HOURS - Opening at 10:00 - We will close for lunch at 12:00 - 1:00 -- then open til 5:00 on Tues - - We close at 4:00 on Wednesday - Friday.
