Also, a storytime and art or craft time is set for Thursdays at 1:30 by the HOTBHN. ------------- Inquire about a Texas America 250 reading certificate! ---------------Remember, if your card is out of date or books overdue, you cannot download e-books from our consortium. ---Perla McMullen has set up a toddler time on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 10:30 -- a huge playpen has been donated so the young mothers can have some time to select books and visit with the other young mothers! - also, we have some new books --YA, adult, and bilingual board books! Remember the graphic novels of some classics, children's books, YA , adult books AND new bilingual board books and bilingual fairy tales for children that came in earlier this fall. .-./ LIBRARY HOURS - Opening at 10:00 - We will close for lunch at 12:00 - 1:00 -- then open til 5:00 on Tues - - We close at 4:00 on Wednesday - Friday. Saturdays open from 10:30 - 1:30 . - Toddlers or pre-school are welcome any time for parents to come in and read to their children and check out books to read at home! Home school children with parents are welcome! The book club "Moms of the Valley" for young women organized by Perla McMullen of the library board will be on every third Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m. / The book club for older adults meets on the 3rd Monday morning at 10:00 -- For a library card adults need to bring driver's license and a utility bill, or car insurance if they do not have a utility bill, during regular hours.
